Personal Trainer - Institutional Student Worker (Dahlonega)

General Summary: University of North Georgia Recreational Sports is seeking knowledgeable, energetic students interested in promoting fitness on campus for the position of Personal Trainer. Rec Sports offers a healthy, friendly work environment and is able to accommodate student schedules.

Job Duties & Responsibilities: The Personal Trainer will:
  • Provide personalized workouts to a varying age range of participants in an individual and group training session.
  • Respond to emergencies, following the Rec Sports Emergency Action Plan.
  • Be required to obtain CPR/First Aid/AED training through American Red Cross within one (1) month of employment.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Ability to train at a variety of times, in conjunction with client's schedule
  • Hold an interest in the field of health and fitness

Certifications/Licenses & Minimum Requirements:
  • Previous personal training or gym-related experience is preferred
  • Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker
