General Summary: The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Biochemistry/Chemistry Student Assistant I. The student MUST be available at least four (4) hours on Fridays.

Job Duties & Responsibilities: The student will assist with:
  • Solution preparation under direct faculty or staff supervision
  • Setup/breakdown of lab experiment materials and equipment
  • Cleaning and maintenance of lab equipment
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Reliable (maintains work schedule with few to no missed shifts)
  • Motivated to work (moves to the next task without being asked or reminded)
  • Flexible (work priorities may change daily)

Certifications/Licenses & Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker and Federal Work Study eligible.
  • Preference will be given to those who have already taken CHEM 1211 (or 1151) and CHEM 1212 (or 1152), with labs.
