General Summary: The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Peer Health Educator. The Peer Health Educator to assist with planning and implementing on campus health education and prevention events and presentations (Safe Spring Break Week, Sexual Assault Awareness Week, Fitness Challenge, National STD Awareness Month, etc.).

Job Duties & Responsibilities: The Peer Health Educator will:
  • Plan and implement health education and prevention events
  • Attend PHE meetings
  • Attend requested training/conferences


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Knowledge and interest in health related topics, alcohol prevention, tobacco cessation. F
  • Comfortable speaking to large groups
  • Organization and time management skills


Certifications/Licenses & Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker and Federal Work Study eligible.
  • GPA Minimum - 2.0
