General Summary: The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a FWS student worker in the Biology Department.

Job Duties & Responsibilities: The student worker will:
  • Assist with upper and lower-level biology courses (Ecology, Principles of Biology II) to help prepare equipment and labs, grading, and aiding the instructor during and outside of lab.
  • Help with lab procedures, assisting students with projects, and general maintenance of laboratory equipment.
  • Assist with ongoing research projects on campus, both in the field as well as in the laboratory.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel programs

Certifications/Licenses & Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker and Federal Work Study eligible.
  • Applicant should have successfully completed Ecology (BIOL 3500K)
