Bookstore Student Assistant - Institutional Student Worker (Fall 2017)

General Summary: The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Student Assistant at the Dahlonega Campus Bookstore. The student will be needed Monday, Wednesday, & Thursday mornings from 8:00a - 12:30p and Monday & Wednesday afternoons from 3:00p - 5:30p. The student will also be needed for weekend work 1-2 Saturday's per month, with the occasional Sunday??.

Job Duties & Responsibilities: The student will:
  • Provide customer service.
  • Re-stock inventory when needed.
  • Do periodic inventory counts.
  • Train on store POS system - cashier training.
  • Be responsible for counting down the register before and after each shift.

Certifications/Licenses & Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker
  • Retail experience preferred
  • Cashier experience preferred
