Student Studio Assistant - Institutional Student Worker (Fall 2017)

General Summary: The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Student Assistant at the Dahlonega campus whose duties are to assist in the safe and efficient operation of printmaking studio. The student will assist the instructor to maintain and clean equipment and the studio. The student will also help maintain inventory of equipment and a safe work environment.

Job Duties & Responsibilities: The student will:
  • Clean work areas and equipment
  • Prepare supplies and equipment for classes
  • Assist in maintenance and running of the printmaking studio


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Basic knowledge of and experience in a printmaking studio space
  • Experience with welding, metal casting process, and 3D printers desirable
  • Ability to follow instructions and carry out duties under light supervision
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.


Certifications/Licenses & Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker
