General Summary: The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Diversity and Student Success Student Worker. The Diversity and Student Success Federal Work Study student is responsible for increasing awareness among students with respect to diversity and UNG resources that will increase student success. This individual works closely with the Advisor to the President on Diversity and the Student Success Coordinator.

Job Duties & Responsibilities: The student's duties include:
  • Provide student success services to students and potential students of the College
  • Assist Director of Complete College Georgia in planning intervention programs to help improve student success
  • Assist with programming to help first-generation prospective students adjust and succeed in college
  • Assist with student recruitment, student activities, and linkages for assistance with support services
  • Assist with recruiting students for diversity programs
  • Assist with developing and leading programs for diversity
  • Assist with monitoring students via Org Sync
  • Prepare documents, reports, contracts and routine correspondence
  • Maintain confidentiality of information exposed to in the course of business

Certifications/Licenses & Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker and Federal Work Study eligible.
