General Summary: The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Federal Student Worker as a Classroom Assistant & Tutor at Lumpkin County Middle School. The prospective candidate will need to complete fingerprint and background check through Pioneer Resa after accepting a position. Work hours are Monday - Friday, two hours per day (10 hours per week).

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Responsibilities include working with a grade level specific team of teachers to assist in tasks needed to efficiently run the school day. This may range from making copies to reading to a small group of students, to supervising make-up work and tests.

Certifications/Licenses & Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker
  • On or off campus student employment ONLY for those who are Federal Work Study eligible
