General Summary: The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Student Assistant in the Mike Cottrell College of Business. The student will assist with basic administrative functions of the office.

Job Duties & Responsibilities: The student will:
  • Greet and assist office visitors and route inquiries to appropriate department/person
  • Complete special projects for faculty
  • Filing and photocopying
  • Mail delivery and pick-up
  • Utilization of internet search engines to conduct research for projects
  • Microsoft Office Suite: to prepare labels, envelopes, spreadsheets, and various documents
  • Assist with events (set-up, clean up, volunteer follow up, gather attendance information


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically spreadsheets
  • Ability to use office equipment such as copiers and printers
  • Strong communication skills
  • Must be proactive, dependable, and punctual
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Must be a problem solver


Certifications/Licenses & Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker and Federal Work Study eligible.
