General Summary: The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for an Office Assistant in Political Science & International Affairs at the Dahlonega campus. The Office assistants will handle multiple tasks for the departmental office and faculty.

Job Duties & Responsibilities: The student will:
  • Handle of confidential/sensitive documentation
  • Prepare of official correspondence from the department
  • Assist instructors with course preparations
  • Prepare materials for departmental events
  • Perform general office work such as filing, shredding, and handing the mail


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Ability to handle sensitive documentation and information required.
  • Desired skills include being organizationally minded
  • Ability to handle lite physical tasks such as delivering mail and texts to faculty members.


Certifications/Licenses & Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker and Federal Work Study eligible.
  • A good knowledge of the Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat systems preferred.
