General Summary: The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for an IT Support Assistant for the Lumpkin Co School System. This position is for 3-5 days per week for 12-20 hours weekly/ 3-4 hours per day.

Job Duties & Responsibilities: The student will assist the Instructional Technology Specialists in the following areas:
  • Deploying new devices to faculty and students
  • Supporting, troubleshooting, and maintaining technology in the classrooms and administrative offices
  • Imaging computer labs for use
  • Inventory and managing technology equipment within our MOM.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Customer service support and rudimentary computer Skills are a must.
  • Knowledge of iOS and macOS are a plus as well as knowledge of Google cloud and classroom environments.

Certifications/Licenses & Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker and Federal Work Study eligible.
