General Summary: The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for student workers as a Project GO Language Tutor. The Project GO language tutors will work under the supervision of Project GO language faculty in Arabic, Chinese, Korean, or Russian to provide one-on-one assistance to ROTC cadets. Tutors may be responsible for activities such as conversation drills, homework, test preparation, leading discussions, etc.

Job Duties & Responsibilities: The Project GO Language Tutor will:
  • Conduct one-on-one tutoring sessions with students in the target language.
  • Work with Project GO faculty to develop/update tutoring materials.
  • Lead discussions, give presentations, and participate in Project GO sponsored activities when necessary.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • College level language courses in the target language completed at the 2002-level minimum


Certifications/Licenses & Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.
  • Native or near-native language proficiency preferred
  • Previous experience in intensive language program preferred
