Advertised Job Summary
The Assistant Director of Success Connect provides leadership for the Student Success Center (SSC) in outreach efforts, including intervention planning and development, target population identification, workshops, presentations, summer bridge programs and external communications. The Assistant Director coordinates and oversees programs and initiatives related to student success and early interventions. The AD for Success Connect is the primary administrator of Tutortrac scheduling software for the Student Success Center, and will serve as the lead administrator for measurement tools and technologies related to early intervention.Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)
Masters degree in Student Services or related field and 3 years related experience, or bachelor's degree and 5 years related experience.Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Student Affairs, Higher Education, or Counseling and relevant work experience coordinating and assessing student or academic programs in a higher education setting is preferred.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
The position requires strong critical thinking and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently while developing strong collaborative relationships with colleagues, students, and student affairs and academic affairs units. The individual must be able to exercise excellent professional judgment and discretion, making decisions on a regular basis that impact student welfare and the institution. TutorTrac scheduling software: training, development, administration. Implementation of web based outreach technologies.
