The Center for the Study and Promotion of Communities, Families and Children (The Center) within the College of Social Work
As the Director for The Center, this person will provide much needed support to generate and sustain transformational knowledge for effective policies, services, and research for the promotion of communities, families, and children. Duties include developing, implementing, overseeing, and coordinating the objectives, strategic goals, budget, branding and activities of The Center. The Director will work with the Center’s Advisory Board and Development Director to establishes and maintains relationships with external audiences and constituencies such as alumni, donors, sponsors, and other campus units. Help coordinates grant proposal identification, design, writing and submission. Develop and maintain collaborative working partnerships across the local, state and federal entities.
Master's degree and six years experience related to administrative services or a Bachelor's degree and eight years of related experience.
Ability to provide leadership and direction in programmatic, budgetary, and operational functions.
Grant writing experience
The Center works closely with the College of Social Work Trinity Institute, Institute for Family Violence Studies, and the Multidisciplinary Center.

This is an A&P (Administrative and Professional) position.
Soft Money Funded Position
This position is time-limited based on soft money funding, with renewal contingent upon available funds and the needs of the University.
Criminal Background Check
This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check.
