This Kentucky Occupational Safety and Health Surveillance (KOSHS) Program manager will supervise a worker fatality Investigator and Database Coordinator; develop case report narratives/recommendations; produce research publications and reports; create safety interventions (i.e. hazard alerts, safety videos and trainings); receive monthly data extracts of elevated adult blood lead level results, administer exposure assessment questionnaires, mail intervention packets to respondents, and make referrals. The Project Manager will also establish, maintain, and grow relationships with agency and industry stakeholders; manage budget; attend meetings/conferences; manage a listserv; and produce monthly and annual reporting to extramural funders. A successful candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, a team-oriented attitude, be a self-starter, and have the ability to operate multiple software (i.e. Qualtrics, SAS, Access & Publisher, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia).
