Position Summary: The Design and Statistical Computing Unit at the Frank Port Graham Child Development Center is seeking a statistician. The statistician will consult with FPG investigators, serve as the primary statistician on multi-disciplinary developmental projects, and can conduct his/her own primary research projects. This statistician will be expected to be able to conduct complex multilevel, longitudinal, and structural equation models, as well as models for missing data (including non-ignorable missingness). The application should have primary expertise in SAS and Mplus software. Previous experience working with psychological and educational researchers is strongly encouraged.

Education Requirements: Ph.D. in quantitative psychology (preferably), sociology, or education with a special emphasis on statistical methodology.

Qualification and Experience: The Statistician Investigator must be experienced in working as a collaborator with researchers (especially psychologists and educational researchers) and must have a comprehensive knowledge of applied behavioral statistics. Other experience should include coordinating the statistical and data management components of multiple research projects simultaneously. We require at least one year of full-time professional experience (post-doc experiences are acceptable) in an academic setting, Proficiency with SAS and Mplus is required.
