Job Description: As a member of the Departments of Advertising and Public Relations, and an employee of The Agency, a strategic communication agency that is an auxiliary of the College of Journalism and Communications at the University of Florida, the Program Director & Lecturer will be responsible for all creative operations, including student team supervision and work production.

As a lecturer, s/he will teach courses in creative strategies. Other responsibilities include:
  • Leads and motivates the activities of the Creator Pillar, including copywriters, graphic artists, production personnel and UX digital designers, providing hands-on immersive learning opportunities while conveying the vision and values of The Agency to the Team. 
  • Frames problems in new ways and leads Team in making original solutions to achieve the clients’ goals, developing creative strategies, schedules, budgets, production support, necessary reviews and client presentations. 
  • Recommends team assignments. 
  • Oversees the execution of all creative efforts to ensure they are on strategy, on budget and on schedule.
Advertised Salary:

Salary is commensurate with education and experience.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and appropriate experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree
