Job Description:

The Xiao Lab in the Department of Aging and Geriatric Research, Biology of Aging Division, is seeking qualified applicants to fill a Postdoctoral Associate position.

The Xiao Lab mainly uses C. elegans as the model organism to study the genetic and molecular mechanisms on how environmental factors modulate animal aging. In particular, the functions of sensory system in the environmental modulation of aging process will be vigorously investigated. To address these questions, multidisciplinary approaches including molecular genetics, protein biochemistry, behavioral analysis, calcium imaging, and electrophysiology will be applied. Postdoctoral applicants with a strong background in any of these fields are encouraged to apply.

Postdoctoral candidates with a strong background in molecular genetics, protein biochemistry, behavioral analysis, calcium imaging, and electrophysiology are encouraged to apply.
