Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) Full-Time Tenure Track Faculty
Weeks per fiscal year: Faculty are covered under a 9-month contract period (August thru May)

Position Description and Duties: This full-time tenure track position will provide campus-based lecture and lab learning experiences for students in the Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) associate degree program.
The successful candidate will be responsible for correlating clinical education with didactic instruction; evaluating students; evaluating clinical education effectiveness; working with program coordinator and program faculty to review and modify curriculum; maintain current knowledge of the professional discipline and education methodologies; and maintain current knowledge of program policies, procedures and student groups.
Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree and an Associate's degree or certificate in Sonography is required. Master's degree in healthcare or education preferred. RDMS credential in Abdominal and OB/GYN. RVT credential by the end of the first (fiscal) year of employment.
Experience Requirements: Equivalent of a minimum of two years full-time experience in the professional discipline. Equivalent of one year of experience teaching preferred. Experience or willingness to learn instructional technology, alternative delivery and flexible scheduling options a must.
