PROGRAM COORDINATOR, College of Arts & Sciences, Biology (5137/J0617)
Assist the Undergraduate Program Specialist in academic functions serving over 1,200 undergraduates in the Biology Department and the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (BMB) program. This position is responsible for coordinating the advising process, course evaluation process, transfer credit evaluations, and research and travel grant applications. The Program Coordinator will also assist in planning and staffing annual events like Commencement, will design and update academic handouts, reserve rooms for class-related events, maintain social media, and keep accurate student files/databases. This position may be called upon to provide information and statistics to the Chair of Biology, BMB Director, or other staff members as needed. Provides backup duties to the reception desk as required.
Associates degree required, bachelor's degree preferred. Experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe InDesign and Illustrator, WordPress, and Google Drive. One to three years of related experience.
