The project manager will create budgets and schedules, assist in seeking approvals and permits, and manage all aspects of commercial construction projects and some non-construction related projects. Applicants must have some experience in residential or commercial construction. Applicants with experience managing subcontractors are preferred. Comprehension of construction plans (architectural drawings and engineering site development drawings), construction documents, development documents, contractor agreements will be required. Applicants must be able to sketch concepts and have legible handwriting. A high level of critical thinking and problem solving are essential for this position. A high level understanding and usage of basic computer programs (MS Word, MS Excel, email) and the ability to learn and utilize new programs quickly is required. A moderate amount of technical/legal reading and writing will be required. Applicants must be detailed and organized. The position requires 45 hours (min) of work per week, which excludes lunch and non-work hours. Some travel within the US will be occasionally required for particular projects.
