The Division of Advancement pursues the mission to promote the University of North Texas through inspiring the public to become involved with the growth and progress of the university.

The division accomplishes this by establishing and continuing mutually beneficial relationships that result in donations of time and financial resources that support and empower the future leaders of our generations.

Job Description
The Division of Advancement is looking to add Administrative Support for the Donor Relations and Advancement Services team, to report to the Assistant Vice President for this unit.

Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

* Maintains calendar for the Assistant Vice President and schedules appointments for directors.
* Maintains clear organization of electronic files and paper files.
* Maintains budget spreadsheets for the team.
* Attends and assists at major donor events, including work after hours and on weekends as needed.
* Assists with solicitations, gift agreements and other documents by proofreading and ensuring accuracy of content.
* Assist with assembling data to create accurate and appealing reports for the team.
* General duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree and five years of highly responsible and varied office administration or business management experience; or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and training. The following knowledge, skills, and abilities are required:

* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Advanced written communication skills.
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
* Knowledge of accounting/budgeting procedures.
* Ability to work under pressure, to adjust to constant changes, to handle multiple tasks, and to coordinate the work of others.
* Ability to keep complex records, to assemble and organize data of complex nature, and to prepare and submit reports in acceptable formats.
* Ability to conceptualize, plan and organize multiple programs and assignments effectively.
* Ability to work on complex and confidential tasks utilizing judgment, tact, and resourcefulness.
* Skill in developing and maintaining good working relationships.
* Knowledge of policies, practices, procedures and terminology of assigned function.
* Supervisory skills.

Preferred Qualifications
The preferred candidate will possess the following additional qualifications:

* The ability to multitask at a high level.
* Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
* Experience with Raiser's Edge.
* Detail Oriented.
