Project Manager Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Creating project plans with detailed scope definition, dependencies, and milestones
  • Baseline plans
  • Update plans and communicate updates to baseline
  • Manage timelines and employ standard project management techniques including CPM, PERT, and GANTT charting
  • Coordinate amongst all project stakeholders, including, internal resources and third parties/vendors for project scope definition, management, and review
  • Ensure that all projects are managed to expectations, within scope and budget
  • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring timeline feasibility
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress at the task and milestone levels
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Manage the relationship with all stakeholders
  • Perform risk management to identify and minimize project risks
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including handover knowledge transfer
  • Ensure deliverables are in line with expectations

Requirements
  • Proven working experience as a project manager
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities
  • Experience managing software development and web technologies projects
  • 3-5 years' experience creating, maintaining, baselining, and managing projects through Microsoft Project
  • 3-5+ years' experience with Microsoft Office suite
  • PMP Certification
