• Perform hands-on work with data analysis, validation and quality assurance, while working as a full-time on-site staff at the customer facility.
• Candidate must have at 2-3 years of professional and proven experience in a related role.
• Understand the business and respond to the customer's data needs
• Understand the business processes, the underlying data, and cross-cutting data sets for various systems within the business unit.
• Experience with end to end grants management process and Health Care related performance data.
• Understand the business needs and using the knowledge of the data, prepare meaningful reports using datasets available through existing systems and datasets external to the customer unit.
• Support various fire drills originating from the Whitehouse, Department, or specific business units within it.
• Support dissemination and distribution of data and reports to other units within the bureau, Health Centers, or external research centers.
• Perform data validation and quality assurance
• Ensure data integrity between the different cross cut reports produced through the system.
• Research and identify root cause/data issues.
• Work with database analysts, operations and reporting teams to address identified data integrity issues.
• Perform advanced analysis on the data
• Support data analysis to study outliers and to understand the health of new programs within the customer unit.
• Work with researchers and domain experts to prepare case studies on specific segments of data.
• When required, present such information in a compelling manner using infographics and other tools.
• Serve as the liaison between the customer unit and the solution teams internal to the corporation for information needs.
• Ensure timely delivery of reports, and manage conflicting priorities and customer expectations.
• Perform periodic check-ins with the customer unit management for status and feedback.
• Perform periodic status check-ins with the internal delivery/program manager.
• Attend meetings and seminars internal to the customer unit and contribute as required.
• Record all tasks in the corporate issue tracking tool (JIRA) at the appropriate level of detail.
• Accommodate flexible work schedules and be willing to tailor working hours based on the customer stakeholders' schedules.
• Adhere to corporate and account level processes and contributes to continually improving these
collaboration tools like SharePoint, WIKI, JIRA for documentation.
• Understand the corporate vision, embodies the core values, and represents self as a good corporate citizen.
• Assist in recruitment, and other corporate initiatives, if applicable.
• Help increase the adoption of reports by providing the customers access to the quick reference guides, conducting knowledge transfer where needed.
• Identify gaps in the system and communicate them to the solution project leads/program manager.
• Document the unmet data needs of stakeholders for reporting purposes.

Work Experience

• Must have at 2-3 years of professional and proven experience in a related role
• Proficiency in MS Excel with knowledge of Pivot Tables, VLookup and other advanced functions is required.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, Access, Visio and PowerPoint is required.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Access and ability to write simple SQL queries, understanding of joins, keys etc. are preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required, with the ability to communicate effectively with different levels of management.
• Strong organizational skills including the ability to multi-task and adapt to change within a fast-paced environment is required.
• Extreme attention to detail is required.
• Ability to deliver under high pressure, deadline driven environment is required.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and general direction, and perform work that is varied is required
• Other similar professional duties maybe assigned as needed

Education and Training

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Statistics, Healthcare Analytics or related field is required.
• Expertise in one or more areas of Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Data Warehousing, Decision Support or Business Analysis is required.
• Domain knowledge in Healthcare and Grants Management is strongly preferred.
• Federal government experience is strongly preferred
