Job Description

We are seeking a Director Of Recruiting, Legal And Professional Services to join our team! You will supervise and coordinate all activities of the sales team.

We have a very exciting opportunity for someone interested in step up to the challenge as our new Director Of Recruiting. This position will provide strategic talent management for assigned practice groups through recruiting, training, professional development, engagement and team development of lawyers. The Director Of Recruiting will focus on identifying current and future needs for all levels of attorney staffing, fostering an environment of attorney professional development and engagement, and providing critical support to practice group leaders. In order to be successful, the Director Of Recruiting will build strong internal relationships through effective communication and utilizing best practices in attorney development.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Identify market trends to oversee successful hiring and integration of entry-level and lateral attorneys.

Build effective relationships across multiple avenues including practice groups, operations departments, law schools and new lawyer hires i.e. summer associates, entry level hires, lateral associates, counsel and partners.

Serve as a resource for professional development, training and on-boarding of new lawyers Administer programs such as the Advisor (mentoring) Program and the Individual Development Program to promote associate career development Provide career support and manage significant aspects of the attorney career path such as parental leave, departures, feedback and promotion.

Job Requirements:
Four year degree in Business, Human Resources or related field.
Minimum of five years related experience in a law firm or professional services environment.
Experience managing people and managing projects.
Computer skills in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.

Experience within the legal recruiting profession is desired but not required.

Ability to spend extensive periods of time on the phones sourcing new candidates.

Ability to spend time in the office beyond normal working hours, and frequently beyond 6 pm.

  • Track monthly results and trends for business forecasting
  • Establish sales goals and metrics
  • Train and evaluate employees
  • Resolve escalated customer complaints
  • Work with HR to recruit top-tier talent

  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms or related software


Salary: $36,000 - $45,000 based on experience

Commissions on Personal Business: 15% - 25%

Override on Team Business: 10%

Year-End Performance Bonus: $2,500 - $10,000
