The Advanced Practice Provider II (APP II) is a member of the Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine division and has as his/her primary responsibility the management of patients.

The APP II works under the direct supervision of Dr. Ashish Maskey and in collaboration with Pulmonary faculty within the Pulmonary/Critical Care Division in the Department of Internal Medicine.

The APP II has specialized skill and knowledge related to the unique clinical setting in which s/he practices.

The participation of the APP II improves access to the practice, provides enhanced monitoring of clinically complex patients and contributes to excellence in patient care and referring physician satisfaction.

Nurse (APRN) license.

For Nurse Practitioner applicants, acute care
certification is preferred.

Kentucky Physician Assistant (PA)
