Position Title: Director of Law Enforcement Programs

Salary: Upper $50's


Master's Degree in Criminal Justice, ten (10) years of law enforcement experience, experience in supervising and managing Division of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS)- approved police basic school; understanding of outcomes and expectations of program policies and implementations; and knowledge of State and Federal emergency management processes required.


Provides leadership, management, and direction for law enforcement programs, services and activities, as well as, collaboration efforts with the Center for Social Sciences, Business & Information Sciences. Acts as liaison with the greater community to promote the Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement/Police Academy and other law enforcement programs; provides effective leadership and direction regarding student recruitment and retention plans; coordinates and schedules the delivery of training programs and courses in areas of specialty; and identifies and establishes learning objectives and assessment tools for law enforcement program offerings in accordance with the Division of Criminal Justice Services, SUNY, and accrediting bodies.
