Doctoral degree in Biology or related field. Research experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
Solid experience and first author publications in molecular biology or stem cell biology. Experience with transgenic murine models and hematopoietic stem/progenitor cell culture is highly desirable.

Brief Description of Duties:
The Postdoctoral Associate is dedicated to support basic science and pre-clinical research. The Postdoctoral Associate must possess a strong work ethic, creativity and enthusiasm, as well as effective written and verbal communication skills. The selected candidate will be responsible for the following:

Plan experiments and technical requirements, prepare and test specimens.

  • Analyze data present the results at various scientific meetings, prepare the manuscripts and grants.
  • Maintains laboratory equipment/supplies/facilities.
  • Execute the administrative aspects of the study plan including preparing research-related documents.

Special Notes: FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Minimum salary threshold must be met to maintain FLSA exemption.
