Job Description Summary
1. To enhance students' general work experience by assisting them in learning about the "world of work" resulting in developing and/or improving basic work habits and entry level job skills, such as communication and teamwork.
2. To provide students with opportunities to develop or strengthen marketable skills that are related to their field of study.
3. To engage students in the creative process of problem solving and decision making on their assigned tasks which includes basic office skills, filing, stuff and mail, lifting, basic word or excel data entry.
*Consistently maintain 6 credit hours each semester;
*maintain satisfactory academic progress;
*adhere to College's confidentiality policy;
*successfully pass background/drug screening;
*answer phone and take messages;
*clerical duties such as filing, data entry, copying and faxing;
*open and sort mail;
*strong interpersonal communication skills;
*willingness to learn new technology;
*assist with special projects;
*other duties as assigned.
