Job Description
The Psycology Department at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire a Research Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

* Start-up support for a new NIH-NIAAA research grant. Activities will include questionnaire battery and task programming, building researcher and training documents, IRB coordination, tech and data management support, regular meetings/communication with the PI and student research team.

Minimum Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree with major course work in the field of assignment and two year of related experience; or any equivalent combination of education, experience and training.

The following knowledge, skills, and abilities are required:
* Knowledge of basic scientific techniques and methods used in routine research
* Knowledge of the basic equipment used in field of research
* Knowledge of special equipment in the field of assignment
* Knowledge of health, safety, and security precautions in keeping with type of research being done
* Ability to set up and operate research apparatus and equipment.
* Skill in conducting tests and measurements
* Skill in preparing technical reports

Preferred Qualifications
The preferred candidate will possess the following additional qualifications:

* Qualtrics and Inquisit programming experience.
* Biopac data collection, cleaning, and interpretation experience.
* SPSS mastery.
* Experience working on research targeting community-recruited adolescents.
* At least one year of experience in a supervisory/managerial role.
