The George Washington University (GW) School of Nursing (SON) faculty members and students are engaged in a wide spectrum of research activities, studying health, health care workforce, nursing education and the delivery of care in hospitals. SON invites applications for a Senior Nurse Researcher to join this dynamic and emerging team of nurse scientists in a position slated to begin as early as Spring 2018.

The successful candidate will make significant contributions by publishing high impact research, obtaining external research funding, teaching courses in the School of Nursing’s planned PhD program, and mentoring graduate students in research.

Applicants must have at time of application: (1) A PhD in nursing, public health, public policy or a related field; (2) a nursing degree (any level); (3) an established body of scholarship as evidenced by peer-reviewed publications and NIH funded grants in the area; (4) experience working with/teaching diverse groups/diverse students.
