Program Coordinator for International Student Programs

Performs a variety of professional and administrative duties in support of the day-to-day operations of a function, program, and/or dept; assists in program planning & development; interpret, monitor, & analyze information regarding operating policies & procedures; administers budgets; & coordinate academic and/or staff personnel matters. Performs "mid-level" administrative support duties; not a secretarial position.

This position provides programmatic and overall administrative support for the office of International Student Programs (ISP) through the implementation of cultural programming and managing the Global Village (GV). Programmatic support includes the successful planning and implementation of campus-wide international programming, ISP workshops and signature initiatives such as the International Peer Leader Program, International Student Orientation, and co-advising the International Student Association. Administrative support includes ensuring appropriate budget management (including ISP and ISA purchasing), equipment and supply purchases, scheduling, marketing and website updates. This position also serves as the manager and supervisor of the Global Village and its student employees. Responsibilities include tracking utilization, updating literature and digital media, conference room reservations, and overall support. The Coordinator will also be responsible for the supervision, hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating student employees and International Peer Leaders.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and 3 years of related experience OR a High School diploma and 2 years of college coursework and 5 years of related experience OR High School diploma and 7 years.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree preferred and Two years of experience working with international student population preferred.
