The Human Resources Department at Northern Arizona University is currently seeking a Learning & Development Trainer. Under the direction of the Assistant Director of Learning & Organizational Development, this position plans, organizes, coordinates, and facilitates the delivery of training and development programs and resources with the goal of helping university employees be successful in their jobs and careers. Promoting knowledge and skill building, enhancing university compliance and fostering a supportive and productive work environment that retains key talent while delivering excellent service. Through the use of just-in-time delivery and other innovative as well as traditional methods, provides program coordination and administration for the design, development, and delivery of the University’s employee professional development, supervisory development, compliance-related training, and other adult learner training programs in a higher education work environment.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in education, training, business administration or management, instructional design, e-learning or a related field AND five years of teaching, training, employee development or related professional experience; OR, Nine years of teaching, training, employee development or related professional experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education.
Annual Salary: $46,227 - $56,374 Commensurate with Experience
