Assistant Professor Faculty in Management –Robert C. Vackar College of Business and Entrepreneurship
The Department of Management in the Robert C. Vackar College of Business & Entrepreneurship at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) seeks applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Human Resource Management beginning Fall 2018. The hired faculty member will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses with a 2/2 teaching load. Teaching load is contingent upon meeting doctoral faculty research outcome criteria established by the College
Successful applicants must demonstrate a strong ability to conduct high-quality research and publish in top journals.
Applicants must have a doctoral degree in management or a related area from an AACSB accredited program by the start of the Fall 2018 semester. The preferred specialty is Human Resources Management. A secondary specialty in Organizational Behavior would be desirable. Applicants must provide evidence of teaching effectiveness and strong research ability.
