Part time Instructor Astronomy
Nature of Work
The College of Coastal Georgia seeks qualified applicants for the position of Part-time Faculty – Astronomy. Part-time faculty will work in the School of Arts & Sciences / Department of Natural Sciences which consist of faculty members with strong records of academic excellence. Part-time faculty are assigned classes on an as-needed basis.
The successful candidate will teach Astronomy lecture and laboratory, and maintain office hours.
Minimum Qualifications and Training
Applicants must have a Master’s degree with eighteen semester credit hours at the graduate level in Astronomy.
Preferred Qualifications and Training
Applicants who demonstrate evidence of recent, successful post-secondary teaching experience, have a strong background in astronomy, and work cooperatively with other faculty are strongly preferred.
