Job Summary The Coordinator for Facilities is crucial to the successful operation of the shared-use Ramsey Student Center and satellite facilities, reports directly to the Assistant Director for Facilities, and works as an integral member of the Recreational Sports staff in pursuing the departmental vision and mission. The Coordinator assists in the recruitment, hiring, training, scheduling, supervision and evaluation of a staff of 150-200 student facility employees, three Graduate Assistants and supports programs sponsored by the Department of Recreational Sports, the College of Education and the UGA Athletic Association. This position also assists in the management of facility operations and provides evening and weekend facility support and event coordination, as needed. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in field appropriate to area of assignment AND two years of administrative and appropriate program experience; OR Master's Degree in field appropriate to area; OR six years of progressively responsible administrative and appropriate program experience; OR any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved.
