Student Services Associate III
Provide professional counseling to students in group or individual settings; responsible for vocational testing and assessment, program development and evaluation, and outreach activities.
The successful candidate will create individualized academic plans for assigned caseload of students including those diagnosed with educational impacting disabilities, they will identify weaknesses in students' learning and apply techniques to help strengthen weaknesses through regular academic meetings and specific academic interactions, identify Research based interventions that will benefit a student's unique learning differences, and use these interventions to provide remediation and close learning gaps in math, writing, and writing skills.
The candidate will communicate frequently with SASS staff concerning students' academic progress, review psycho educational assessments if applicable to help students understand their assessments. They will Coordinate with students and maintain liaison relationship with Students with Disabilities office and also Coordinate with Sports medicine if necessary to ensure student-athlete has proper documentation for any educational impacting medication.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 2 years related experience.
- Masters degree in Education, Special Education, Adult Education, Counseling
- Knowledge of Educational impacting disabilities
- Reading comprehension strategies knowledge and experience
- Familiarity with Academic Accommodations
- Experience working with division I Student-Athletes
- Experience working with academic/psychological testing
