Lighting And Projections Fellow

Description:
The Lighting and Projections Fellow will provide supervision of the backstage operations in the theatre performance and production support facilities of the Office of the Arts. This includes the Cutler Majestic Theatre, Paramount Theatre, Semel and Greene Theaters, Black Box Theatre, Bright Family Screening Room, Paramount Studios and scene shop.
This person will allocate, maintain, inventory and store stage lighting/projections. They will also oversee related equipment in Office of the Arts venues.
The Fellow will assist facility users by providing assistance with stage lighting and projection equipment. They will work with Office of the Arts Production staff to provide superior production values in Office of the Arts venues while maintaining safe working practices.

Campus Location: Boston Campus

Required Knowledge:
Bachelor’s degree with demonstrable knowledge of theatrical lighting and projection systems. Basic knowledge of audio signal flow. Proficiency in both Windows and Mac operating systems. Must have attention to detail and the ability to multitask.

Preferred/Desirable Knowledge:
ETC Theatrical Lighting Systems, ETC Unison system, video projection, film projection, Crestron, Extron, Analog Way.

Required Prior Work Experience:
1-2 years of related experience in technical theater, with an emphasis in lighting and/or projections
