Provide administrative support to the Department Chair and Administrator in the Department of Community Health Sciences, a fast growing department in the SPH. Responsible for all financial expenditures, including travel reimbursements, honorariums, and other disbursements. Responsible for event planning, including monthly Research in Actions series. Provide calendar support and scheduling for Department Chair. Update space inventories and department directories. Responsible for technical troubleshooting of all office equipment. The successful candidate will need to be well organized, detail oriented and able to prioritize duties, multi task effectively, and to stay organized. Excellent administrative, communication, written and computer skills. Experience with SAP, Concur Travel and BUworks preferred. Three to five years of related work experience.The individual in this position will process all incoming and outgoing financial disbursements for both restricted and unrestricted sources. Track and investigate post award grant expenditure issues. Special projects as assigned by Department Administrator.

Required Skills

3-5 years of experience and Bachelors Degree required. Proficiency in Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, familiarity with SAP a plus.
