The School of Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management (HRTM) in the College of Hospitality, Retail and Sport Management, seeks applications and nominations for hospitality and/or tourism scholars at the Assistant Professor level. Areas of expertise being sought include human resources management and club management. Other hospitality areas may be considered based on the applicant's expertise and record of research. The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses, demonstrate an active, innovative, and applied research agenda; identify and seek external funding to support research and graduate students, provide service that is beneficial to the school, college, and university.Required Education and Experience
Earned Ph.D. degree, evidence of teaching at the university level, demonstrated success in research and grant endeavors along with industry and academic experience in hospitality, tourism or a closely related field.Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated strong record of excellent teaching, research, and industry connections.
