Term: This is an Ongoing appointment
This position is responsible for all aspects of field operations, which include tillage, planting, and harvesting of corn, soybeans, small grains, and forages such as alfalfa and corn silage. This position also assists with farm building and equipment maintenance. Some work with dairy cattle will also be required during times when field work is not as demanding. Overtime, weekend and holiday hours will be dictated by weather conditions and crop requirements. This is an entry level position that uses the employee's willingness to learn and some experience to complete the necessary tasks with close supervision advancing to limited supervision.
To be successful in this position you must also exhibit a positive working attitude, communicate well and develop a good working relationship with co-workers and supervisors and show initiative to see what needs to be done and to get it done.
Commercial Driver's License
Monday through Friday 7:00AM to 3:30PM
Must be willing to work overtime, some weekends and holidays as required by the season and weather
