Job Summary:

Under the general direction of the Human Resources Manager, this position is responsible for performing complex paraprofessional human resources work including but not limited to areas of recruitment/staffing, classification/reclassification, affirmative action/equal employment opportunity, payroll, records management, onboarding and employee training.

This position will maintain current position descriptions, probationary evaluation reports, manage the annual performance evaluation process, and manage the UHS training and credentialing tracking system to document the AAAHC requirements. The position will provide support to the payroll and benefits area and provide assistance to managers and supervisors throughout UHS with HR and HRS related policies and procedures.

The employee functions with independence and is expected to have a working knowledge of and ability to locate and interpret UHS and campus policies and procedures. The individual is expected to have exceptional organizational and communication skills and exercise good judgment. In this role, the incumbent is expected to:
* Demonstrate exceptional customer service by establishing and maintaining effective professional relationships with managers, supervisors, coworkers, and all customers.
* Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information with tact and discretion.
*Use effective team skills to contribute to the efficient operation of the work unit.
*Present ideas, carry out assignments, and provide information as required.

The work must be performed often under pressure to meet multiple customer service and operational demands while maintaining service standards.



Schedule Comment:

40 hours/week with 30 minute lunch. Standard hours will be 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. Operational needs require flexibility between 7:00 and 5:30.
