Reporting to the Director of Career Education and Strategic Initiatives, the Administrative Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative oversight to a variety of day-to-day tasks that are critical to our success, including significant involvement with data collection and tracking processes, as well as managing personnel onboarding, miscellaneous projects, and facilitating successful operational functions in the office. This position will also provide strategic administrative support to the various teams within the office, including work that supports the organization of our student workshops and career courses. Additionally, this position will serve as assistant to the executive director, handling meeting preparation, calendaring, and miscellaneous research projects, as well as provide general administrative support to members of the leadership team.
The ideal candidate will be able to handle multiple demands and independently prioritize tasks; enjoy working in a fast-paced environment; have excellent communications skills and attention to detail; be comfortable with a variety of online software programs; and handle confidential and time-sensitive materials appropriately. She or he will also be able to work well in teams and skilled at influencing staff behavior without having the necessary authority. The ideal Administrative Coordinator will have a passion for program and process improvement and can comfortably work with a variety of data sets.
