SUMMARY:

Perform a variety of research, database, and clerical duties of a complex and technical nature in support of clinical trials at the Robertson Clinical and Translational cell Therapy (CT2) Program.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform a variety of research, database, and clerical duties of a complex and technical nature in support of clinical trials.
• Receive and triage calls from interested research study participants. Establish record in dashboard monitoring system and track status of response to interested callers.
• Screen and educate potential study participants through telephone interviews and email exchanges about the characteristics of the different studies and the initial eligibility criteria for each of them.
• Assist Clinical Research Coordinators with initial informed consent and with the procurement of medical history from interested study participants. Help gather the information into a docket for presentation to the study team that will determine participant eligibility. Enter data into electronic systems as needed.
• Assist Clinical Nurses team with subject enrollment and scheduling of clinic visits.
• Maintain ongoing communications with study team to provide information, track documentation, and track overall progress of interested participants and subject enrollment.
• Assist with general administrative activities as requested to include, but not limited to, providing input on trends or problems noted and/or input regarding study modifications.
• Communicate and coordinate with other study team personnel as needed for study implementation and problem resolution. Attend study team meetings; stay abreast of information and any changes to study protocol. Perform other related duties incidental to clinical research studies.
