Chemeketa Community College welcomes applications for a full-time Maintenance/Trades Technician II

Position Summary

Performs basic maintenance and repair activities under the direct or indirect guidance of a Facilities & Operations lead worker or Supervisor. This position works directly with the Dean of Emergency Services at the Brooks Regional Training Center.

Terms of Employment: 
This is a 100%, 12-month classified assignment of the B2 band and grade.
Must have the ability to obtain a public applicator license for herbicides within six months of hire.
Upon hire, must successfully complete a physical agility and fitness test.
Upon hire, must pass security inquiry, which may include criminal and/or driving history; only information relevant to the position will be considered.
May require flexible work schedule to meet department/program needs, which may include evenings and/or weekends.

Salary

$2,664.00 - $3,860.00 Monthly

Requirements

High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (G.E.D.)
-AND-
Two years of demonstrated work experience in general facilities maintenance or a technician in the trades
