The Kroc School is the nation's first stand-alone school of peace and justice. We
develop unique programs and learning experiences to prepare and support innovative changemakers and peacebuilders to address humanity's urgent challenges involving violent conflict, injustice, inequality and oppression.

We are looking for a creative development professional, who can work with the team of administrators and faculty in fundraising endeavors that support our mission and vision. The Director of Development must be able to leverage his or her fundraising expertise and proven record of identifying, cultivating, engaging and stewarding capable philanthropic partners to expand and strengthen fundraising capabilities as we continue the growth of the Kroc School. The selected person will work with the Dean, Institute Directors, and University Relations to develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies and build internal fundraising capacity. We are looking for an individual who can effectively communicate the Kroc School's unique story, its vision, and impact and reflect our organization's culture of innovation for peace and justice locally and abroad.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree and at least 7 years' experience in fundraising with demonstrable management and administrative skills. The candidate must have a record of cultivating, soliciting and stewarding gifts. In order to build relationships the candidate must feel inspired by our end goal of greater peace and justice. Demonstrated oral and written communication skills are essential for success. Background check and education verification required.
