The College of Arts & Media has an opening for a full-time University Staff (unclassified) HR and Operations Coordinator position.

At the entry level, duties are limited in scope and are performed with guidance and direction from other professionals and are performed in a training and development capacity.
This full-time, University Staff (non-classified) position will provide human resources, payroll and operations support for the College of Arts & Media at the University of Colorado Denver. Specifically, this position will perform all functions related to student employees and lecturers including hiring, on-boarding, payroll, record keeping and ensuring required trainings are complete. This position will work closely with other campus and university administrative offices to resolve issues pertaining to personnel and payroll. This position will also provide general operations support for the college, including managing front desk student worker schedules and providing back-up support for the college's front desk. It will also be responsible for supporting facility access and key requests.
PLEASE NOTE: Candidates will be responsible for travel expenses related to the interview process and any relocation expenses, if applicable.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary range for this position has been established at $44,000 to $46,000 and is commensurate with skills and experience.
This position is eligible for overtime compensation

- A bachelor's degree in human resources, business, public administration, public policy, higher education administration, finance, accounting, communications or a directly related field
Substitution: A combination of education and professional Human Resources experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree on a year for year basis
- Experience working with PeopleSoft Human Capital Management or similar payroll/HR system
- Experience in a higher-education setting
- Experience/knowledge of hiring and payroll policies and best practices
- Two year of progressively responsible experience in human resources
- PHR or SHRM-CP Certification or relevant HR professional organization affiliation (SHRM, CUPA-HR)
