Posting Summary:
The Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Virginia seeks candidates for a tenure-eligible, general, non-invasive, Cardiologist to join its expanding Cardiology Division. This clinical faculty position will be at the rank of Assistant Professor.

The incumbent will be responsible for providing general, non-invasive, cardiovascular services, with an emphasis on in-patient and out-patient general cardiology. The work may also have the opportunity for supervision of testing, EKG, and non-invasive monitoring. The candidate will actively participate in the teaching program with cardiology fellows and medical house staff. An interest in vascular medicine or onco-cardiology are encouraged but are not required. The opportunity exists to participate in an active research program and a limited opportunity may exist for echocardiography.

Candidates must have an MD and be board-eligible or board-certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease by appointment start date. To be considered, candidates must have experience in basic or clinical research and a strong interest in a career in academic medicine.
