The University of Virginia is a highly competitive Division I program committed to academic and athletic excellence. The Department of Athletics at the University of Virginia is now accepting applications for the position of Operations Assistant to support the Men's and Women's Squash programs.

The Operations Assistant for Men's and Women's Squash position exists to provide a high level of operational and logistical support to the Intercollegiate Athletic sport programs of Men's and Women's Squash and to assist in achieving a nationally recognized program, both on and off the court, in a manner that meets all guidelines set by the University of Virginia, the ACC, the CSA, and the NCAA. Responsibilities include: exemplary customer service to internal and external constituencies; providing operational and logistical support to the Head Squash Coach, Coaching staff, and student-athletes as requested; supporting operational and administrative needs; preparing statistical spreadsheets; and performing other duties as assigned that support or add value to, the goals and objectives of the unit.

This is a part-time hourly wage position with an expected set schedule of 20 hours per week and a maximum of 1500 hours per year, per state policy. This position will report to the Head Squash Coach and will be based at the McArthur Squash Center at the Boar's Head Inn Sports Club.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to prepare spreadsheets, provide information and perform operational functions. Ability to communicate accurately and in an effective manner - spoken and written. Ability to develop good working relationships with all internal and external constituencies.
