The Center for Public Health Genomics is currently seeking a Biostatistician to collaborate with research faculty members and work on large scale projects at the cutting edge of human genetics and genomics research. The biostatistician designs, writes and tests complex statistical analysis. The incumbent's research primarily will be focused on genome wide association analysis, next-generation sequencing analysis, as well as analysis of candidate genes in investigations of cardiovascular disease, atherosclerosis and diabetes.
Qualified candidates must have a Master's or higher degree in statistics, biostatistics, mathematics, computer science, or related and relevant field. A minimum of 1 year experience required in biostatistical applications.
